services / commercial it
Fixed without destroying what matters.
Non-destructive computer repair for businesses in South and Central Florida: system upgrades, OS reinstallation, and data recovery. Your original drive is never written to. We clone it first and work on the copy.
- Commercial clients only
- South & Central Florida
- Clone first, always
Plainly: this is not the cheapest fix
If you need a $99 shop repair, this is not it, and we will tell you that upfront rather than waste your time. This service is for a business system, a workstation, or data where downtime or loss costs far more than the repair, and where a wrong, destructive attempt would make it worse.
What you are paying for is senior, non-destructive work: the original is preserved, every step is quoted before it happens, and no one formats, wipes, or opens a failing drive and hopes for the best.
01 / What we do
Repair, upgrade, recover
Data recovery
Deleted, corrupted, or failing drives, external drives, and server / NAS / RAID assessment. Logical recovery, failing-drive imaging, and SSD work, quoted as a fixed price after diagnostic.
System upgrades
SSD upgrades, RAM, storage migration, and cloning to a new drive, with your old drive returned untouched so you can always go back.
OS reinstallation
Clean Windows / macOS reinstallation, done only after a verified clone or backup exists. Your files and settings are migrated back, not lost in the reinstall.
IT consulting: 20-min call, $25
Advice and planning only, on one 20-minute phone / video call. We do not see your equipment. No hands-on repair, no data handling, no diagnostic. See the fence.
Also available after a job, on request and quoted separately: a backup check, so the same failure does not put you back in this position next month.
02 / The method
Non-destructive means this, specifically
Clone first
A failing or at-risk drive is imaged through a write-blocked process before any repair or recovery attempt. Work happens on the clone, not the original.
Original preserved
The original drive is kept untouched and returned to you, unless you instruct otherwise in writing.
No format-and-hope
No wiping, reinstalling over, or "trying a fix" on the only copy of your data.
No desk-opened drives
If a drive needs cleanroom / mechanical work, we say so after diagnostic and quote that path separately. We do not open a failing drive outside the proper environment.
Stop before damage
If diagnostic shows a job would risk the data, we stop, explain what we found, and get your written approval before anything further.
If you have already tried a repair, a recovery program, or a format, tell us in the intake. It changes the approach. It does not automatically disqualify the job, but hiding it can.
03 / Pricing
The rate card

Rush / after-hours work is priority scheduling, quoted case by case before work starts. There is no discount tier, no consumer rate, and no "quick look for free": the diagnostic is how a job starts.
The consulting call, and its fence
Consulting is one 20-minute phone / video call only, $25 ($75/hr pro-rated). It is advice only, and it is deliberately fenced off from repair work. It covers talking, planning, and reviewing options, not touching a machine, a drive, or your data. We do not see your equipment at all.
Consulting includes
- System and purchase advice
- Backup and setup planning
- A second opinion on a quote
- "Is this worth repairing?" guidance
Consulting does not include
- Diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, reinstalls, or recovery
- Hands-on or remote-access work of any kind
- A diagnosis of a specific machine: advice is based only on what you describe
- Hard stop at 20 minutes. The call ends at 20 minutes. More time is a separate 20-minute call, booked separately. The cap does not stretch.
- Hands-on work is a new job: $500 diagnostic first, then repair rates ($1,500/hr on-site, $750/hr off-site), with a written quote after diagnostic. No discount carries over from consulting time.
To book a call, use Contact Enfermatiko and enter the topic "IT Consulting: 20-min call" and a short description of the question. Do not use the diagnostic form below; it is for repair and recovery jobs.

- Phone screen, tablet, or console repair
- Anyone looking for the lowest price: by design, this service will not be it

Not sure if your city is covered? Put it in the intake below. We confirm coverage before diagnostic is charged: you do not pay $500 to find out you are out of area.
05 / Process
How a job runs
Intake + coverage check
You send the brief below. We confirm you are a commercial client in South / Central Florida and that the job is in scope.
Diagnostic: $500, upfront
Assessment, write-blocked imaging check, and a written finding: what failed, what is recoverable or repairable, and what it will cost.
Written quote, your approval
No further work starts without your written approval of the fixed quote or not-to-exceed cap, and any parts.
Non-destructive work
Clone first, work on the copy, original preserved and returned.
Verification + return
You verify the recovered data or rebuilt system before the job is closed. Recovered data goes only to your authorized business contact.
Data handling & confidentiality
- Your data is handled only as needed to diagnose, recover, or migrate it. We do not browse, copy, share, or resell client data.
- Recovered or migrated data is delivered only to the authorized business contact named in the intake, by an agreed secure method.
- Working copies and clones made for the job are deleted 30 days after delivery, unless you instruct otherwise in writing. The original drive, if returned to you, is yours to keep or destroy.
- An NDA can be signed before diagnostic on request. Ask in the intake.
- No guarantee is made that any specific file, drive, or system can be recovered. Diagnostic tells you honestly what is possible before you commit to the recovery quote. That honesty is part of why diagnostic is paid even when the answer is "not recoverable".
06 / Questions
FAQ
Why are the rates this high?
Deliberately. This service is for business systems and data where a destructive attempt or long downtime costs far more than the repair. If the lowest price matters most, a general repair shop is the better fit, and we will say so.
Do I pay hourly for data recovery?
No. Recovery is a fixed quote, in writing, after diagnostic. If the data is not recovered, there is no recovery fee; the diagnostic and any parts you approved are still due.
Is the diagnostic refundable?
No. It is the expert assessment, the write-blocked imaging check, and the written quote. Coverage is confirmed before it is charged, so you will not pay it just to learn you are out of area.
A drive is clicking or not spinning. What should we do?
Stop using it and do not run recovery programs on it. Note what happened and what was already tried, and put that in the intake. Repeated power-ups can make a failing drive worse.
Can you sign an NDA?
Yes, before diagnostic, on request. Mention it in the intake.
Should we send passwords in the intake?
No. Never put passwords in the brief or an email. If access is needed, we arrange it separately after the order is confirmed.
